The
Nim-Cor PressurePro airshaft pressure sensing system
is a patented method of ensuring that one or more airshafts
operating on a line are at the desired pressure setting
for optimum core grip.
If the pressure in a shaft is not at the correct pressure,
the system will give a visible and an optional audible warning
so that action may be taken to remedy the situation. It
matters not whether the problem is caused by faulty inflation
or by a failure of the shafts bladder system, the
system will detect this and provide the selected warning.
Programming the system is simple, and up
to 10 shafts can be controlled from one console.
Sensors
are fitted into a pocket drilled in the shaft, and the system
can be fitted into airshafts whether they are fitted with
valve in journal or valve in body
inflation systems. It will be possible
to retrofit the system to existing Nim-Cor airshafts
with only minor modifications to the journal as required
to allow for airway connections. It may be possible to retrofit
most other airshafts that may be in use.
